You are here: What is gunbook-eligible inventory?
Gunbook-eligible inventory is simply inventory for which the Gunbook check box is selected for the associated subcategory. For example, if you have a category called Firearms with a subcategory called Handguns, you would select the Gunbook check box on the Edit Sub Categories window so that any transaction involving an item in the Handguns subcategory is recorded in your Acquisition and Disposition records (gunbook). Inventory in this subcategory is then gunbook-eligible. On the other hand, if you have a category called Accessories, and a subcategory for Cases, you would not select the Gunbook check box because you do not need to record the acquisition or disposition of gun cases in your bound book. Inventory in this subcategory is not gunbook-eligible.
